Apples, Apples, Apples!

Thank you for bringing in apples this week for my centers!

There are many different types of apples.

Did you know that there are about 2,500 different varieties grown in the Unites States?!

We looked at our apples and discussed how they are alike and how they are different.

We touched them, smelled them, and cut them open to see what they look like inside!
(*I cut them open :) * )

We learned the different parts of an apple.  The stem, skin, leaf, flesh, core, and seeds.

We put our apples in order using our newly learned AB pattern!
Red, Green, Red, Green....
